Blog

This blog is very good and shows many great points for why physical education should be in the classroom. Many people do not like how they have to do regular exercise for school to even be able to graduate. At most schools you must have a least two credits of physical education in order to graduate. This blog was very well put together and was very easy to navigate. It was very knowledgeable about the situation that our education is having to deal with right now. Schools are making big cuts to electives such as are, music, and even physical education. This is very scary for our youth because of the great rate of obesity in our nation. With technology seen as a sedentary way to get work done many people have been straying away from exercise and have been ballooning up ever since. All teacher must notice that we must have physical education in our education system. With a healthier student studies show that they will learn more than an overweight student. In almost every part of education movement and exercise has a part. I believe that this must happen in the classroom from math classes to science classes. If we can educate the youth about the importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle they will begin to exercise and take care of their bodies. This is a national problem and must be attacked before it is too late. If we can not do this we will lose our physical education program all together and then these students will have no chance to learn these vital skills to live a healthy an safe lifestyle. Our nation is a leader in almost everything and we are also leading in obesity. This has brought on new diseases and life expectancy going down. We must let out children live healthy and long lives to make them have the chances that we have had in our life time.
