Article
This was a very interesting article that dealt with women who have been stay at home moms that have not been in the work force for a long time. These women have learned that they will have to re-enter the work force because of the recession and the financial declines of many families. The women that have been taking these classes have had no real computer training. Throughout these classes the women learn how to navigate a computer so that they can be hired pretty much anywhere in the wide realm of employment. I believe that this is great for the community and should be done everywhere. I understand that in past generations they have not had the training on newly made technology. This can be very frustrating and must be attacked so that we can give everyone a fair chance of employment. With technology changing everyday this must be a point that we teach and strive to do well for every student. As teachers we must also keep our education up to date and get taught on new technology very regularly. Also I believe that in every classroom teachers must integrate this technology within their classrooms. If we can start habits of good knowledge of technology and a need to learn higher technology we will have students that are highly versed in technology that can pass that information on to family members and also friends. Within my class room I will try to show that you can use technology to happy you live a healthy life. One way is to track what you eat on websites to see how many calories you are in taking and what things you are lacking within your diet. Also you can integrate the nitendo wii into the classroom and show that technology is your friend when you are trying to live a healthy lifestyle.

I do agree that technology is constantly changing and must be monitored and used safely. Very well done
